Not only this, but globalisation is beginning to reach its peak. The Internet is in its absolute infancy. Is this the decade that the world finally sees peace after near constant conflict for millennia? Or is this a façade. Nativism, violent extremism, terrorism and instability are quietly rising. The next decade poses the rise of Islamist terrorism through attacks on the West, similarly with nativist sentiment rising in response to the rise of globalism, and an incredibly fragile set of frameworks for peace being set into place.
