Now it's up to the homegrown and their taped together skillbilly tech to keep what's left of mankind from going extinct. Nestled just north of Cedar Mountain, in the heart of DuPont Forest, survivors from the initial invasions found safe haven on an old abandoned airfield, attached to the remains of a Boys and Girls Summer Camp that closed in the early 90s. What was left of the old hangars and camp bunks became a home for evacuees from across the eastern seaboard. Since the invasion of April 2025, the surviving population has dwindled. In Year Eight, present day, the population of Fort Dustin numbers just over 500.
