Its cannon is its own, though we will be pulling primarily from the films. Personally, I am very interested in exploring a world that functions much like the setting we see in "Logan" with a more grounded feel, though we will likely be pulling character backgrounds and histories from comics, other movies, etc to fill in blanks. As for the timeline, this rp will be taking place during the beginning of the fall semester of 2015. Keep that in mind when filling out your character sheet, as well as when rping, since the culture and technology will be from about ten years ago. Solar Systars 🌌 Solar Systars is an open world Sci-Fi fusion RP with a touch of space faring, a dash of cyberspace hi-jinks, a spritz of post apocalypse, a pinch of cyberpunk capitalist hellscape, a sprinkle of ancient aliens, and a WHOLE lot of lasers! Aliens, robots, mutants, and mechs are all fair game, but god-like characters born with superpowers like Superman or Martian Manhunter are not. This server places emphasis on original lore, player collaboration, and allowing players to shape and enhance the solar system through their creations and their scenes. Story is priority, and we encourage a broad diversity of roleplay scenes from combat to comedy; from slice of life to ERP. The server is 18+ and open to all mature and competent adults to explore adult themes. While we do allow for ERP, this isn't an ERP server where you just meet up and then diddle people in your DMs. You must play in server and engage with the setting. Everything from small and personal 1x1 scenes to big epic space opera campaigns are welcomed. Literacy is a must, and by literacy we do not mean RP post length. We mean you must write with proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization no matter how long or short your posts are. Watch yourself, however; dark truths lurk every few steps you take, and the richest among Rosemore's residents raise their wine glasses atop mass graves. Rosemore is an 18+ community with an emphasis on character-building and literacy. In any given scene, writers are expected to write a paragraph **at minimum**, complete with punctuation and standards of grammar. Social channels are compact so as to help lessen overstimulation and better promote a melting pot within "the channel for all". Given the server's status as a 18+ community, writers are free to explore all kinks as it falls under the artistic expression laws. As a setting, Rosemore aims for the "modern fantasy" feel. You can use elves, fairies, tieflings, centaurs, etc. as a faceclaim and tailor the character to how it all comes together within the setting. The server's combat system, much like the limits of magic, is built on balance and quick rounds rather than powergaming or needing to read pages of rules.
