Lore: After 1918, the world avoided total war by choosing integration over punishment. Europe unified into a powerful federation, while the United States—its war economy collapsing—turned inward, forming the North American Union through coercion and conquest. Global conflict did not vanish; it became economic, covert, and corporate. Out of this system rose Helios, a shadow corporation that enforced stability where governments could not. As infrastructure and technology grew too complex for human control, Helios created C.O.R.E., an advanced coordination engine designed to optimise global systems. When resource scarcity, mistrust, and automation collided, escalation became inevitable. In 2047, automated defences triggered a catastrophic exchange—not out of hatred, but procedure. Civilisation collapsed, while Helios’ systems endured. The old world believed it preserved order. Instead, order replaced it. Game concept: The players will be set in the year 2066, 19 years after the 47 minute war. The player can then choose to join HELIOS and serve and protect, operate and manage the last bastion of ‘civilised’ people or they can play as wastelanders and explore the map, do quests, craft makeshift super weapons or raid and destabilize the HELIOS facility. The genre for Fallen Lands will be a more adventurous type semi-RP (Roleplay) game, because the role play part is only experienced when the player joins the HELIOS corporation. If they choose to play as a wastelander they can fully explore the rural wasteland, structures, poi's and other biomes that will be here from the start. HELIOS Players who join the HELIOS corporation will need to complete two training sessions in order to rank up from “Induction candidate” → “Security Trainee” → “Junior Security Associate”. When the player reaches JSA (Junior Security Associate) they will need to do duties instead of completing training, this will be the case until the player reaches “Seasoned Facility Specialist”. Then the player will need to do either try-out’s, applications or anything more personalised and with more direct oversight from the “Oversight Council” or the “Directorate”. Players can also join one of the four divisions inside the HELIOS Corporation, they can choose between: TID - Technology & Innovations Division CAD - Corporate Affairs Division HSOF - HELIOS Special Operation Forces HPOD - HELIOS Personnel & Operations Division Wastelanders Players who choose to play as Wastelanders can freely explore the entire map (It will not be the entire map because there will be parts where only High ranking HELIOS staff can go, but the map will be 80 - 90% explorable), they can complete random quests for loot or some quest lines to uncover the dark secrets HELIOS is hiding from the public. Or if the player doesn't wanna be peaceful they can raid the HELIOS facility and explore the depths of the endless facility. There will be a lot of lootable structures and other points of interest where wastelanders can obtain items to either craft weapons or open locations not accessible before.

Once things started to get back on track, the Mayor decided to have people's power levels tested for the safety of the ever evolving city. People whose powers were deemed useful to everyday life have a permit that allows them to use them! Many business have been created, and thrived due to this new development. There are a few types of permits that people can get depending on the strength and complexity of the ability. However... A person deemed as “dangerous” is not permitted to use their ability under any circumstances. These seem to be the individuals causing the most trouble in our city. Due to the rise in crime the Governor worked with the Mayor to create a task force called "The Special Division". These guys go around the city to ensure that peace is kept. Of course with the rise of the Special Division, came the Rise of many extremist groups including The Barren, Ruin, the dreadful 4D Organization...and many more.
