This act caused the Third Eye, the ancient protector of the jujutsu schools (the Tengen equivalent), to descend into madness, becoming animalistic and unstable. The result was catastrophic: a worldwide surge of cursed energy. New sorcerers awakened across the globe, abrupt cursed spirits grew stronger and more numerous, and chaos spread rapidly with cults of the Third Eye appearing. Forced into the public eye, sorcerer society revealed itself and became an official branch of the Japanese government. Now, in 2026, countless factions battle alongside, or against, one another. The world has been reshaped, and a new generation of sorcerers has risen, destined either to usher in a new golden age for sorcery… or plunge reality into utter evil.
