The Heavenly Principles are unhappy with the Celestials. So many have fallen. So many have deserted heaven and forsaken their duties. Comfort breeds incompetence. Heaven needs devotion. That's why things must change. The Archangels, in place of the Heavenly Principles, have banished all Celestial to Earth. A century of living among humans, as humans. They must adhere to The Commandments even while on Earth and prove themselves. The Damned already walk the Earth. They see the fallen angel's arrival as an opportunity. The Damned are historically more hands-on with Earth. It's their breeding grounds of souls for the Wild Hunt, the army of the Damned that plan to storm the Earth and, eventually, Heaven. As soon as the pesky peace treaty runs out. There is a prophecy of war's return. The Lion is fated to lead the army of Celestials into battle. The Lamb will be the leader of the army of Damned. Many angels believed this prophecy was faulty. It had been thousands of years. Why would it happen after so long, especially right when they were cast out? A hundred years is a long time.
