These can be the abilities to produce fire, manipulate ice, psionic forcefields, dragoon physiology, and so much more. No one knows what caused this mutation and how it got so streamlined, but here in 2224, eighty percent of the population have developed powers. With powers come people who do things for good, but there are also people who participate in illegal acts with the power they have developed. These are Heroes and Villains. ❃ ~ t's been several hundred years since the first quirk arrived, and now society has integrated these abilities into day to day lives. In Japan we have the number one hero, The North Star, a hero who fights for justice and safety amongst the chaos. Although things look great with North Star, there is unfortunately a group in the shadow. Singularity Pioneering is a quirk research group that has gone too far in science, experimenting to make their masterpieces strong enough to stand up to seasoned heroes. ❃ ~ With villains and other threats being an issue at large. Japan's government instated hero schools along with other countries collaborating. Here we have UA, a heart and soul for pushing out the best heroics. These powers are still new, but they're on the rise. People with quirks aren't rare anymore, but they're still uncommon, and often ostracized by people without quirks. As quirks developed, a problem arose, that being super-criminals AKA "Villains." The normal police couldn't handle these powered fiends, and the world's governments didn't trust the civilian quirk users to stop the villains, as they wouldn't be able to be managed properly. This led to the creation of the hero system. Hero academies have popped up around in highly populated areas, where teens can hone in on their quirks and become heroes. Some people don't trust the hero system, yet still want to do their part. New York City is one of the most populated areas in the United States. This led to a high population of people with quirks. With that, of course, there is a high population of heroes, vigilantes, and villains. Even America's number one hero, Radiant, is here! She is often considered the best of her time, and has put away countless villains. Heroes in training are drawn to NYC's hero school, the famous Liberty Hero Academy! In recent news, an illegal immigrant from Korea became hostile towards a group of individuals trying to help her when she was going to commit suicide by throwing herself off a building. The villain illegally uses her quirk to accelerate herself to the ground. One of the most popular vigilantes, known as Revolt to the public, caught the woman. The villain, now called "#17” because of the number 17 branded on her cheek, tore into the vigilante, trying to beat and kill the man. In turn, Revolt took the woman out, incapacitating her. Heroes were able to take the woman into custody. This hostile mutant is being held in Black Crow Security in NYC instead of being deported in her international scandal
