Many of the civilians have been living a life of ease as the three different Military Divisions fight bravely to keep the ghastly Titans from finding some way into their safety net of the Walls. Or what is soon to be left of them. As the days run on, Marley grows even more restless than before. Corruption runs rampant throughout the Military Police and Garrison, and yet no one does a thing to stop it, instead many work to take advantage of the corruption to gain higher spots within the ranks of either Regiment. Work has been attempted to block the walls of Maria, and Shiganshina has been reclaimed in some sense, though there is a struggle to keep more Titans away from said District. Unbeknownst to the people of Paradis, the Marleyan Military had already infiltrated the land they called home. They took advantage of the lack of knowledge some people within the Walls held in regards to their Island, and sent a group of their best spies to take part in their ways of life - Joining the Military Regiments, living within the Walls, killing Titans - If it has been named, many of these unknown spies likely took part, and have yet to reveal themselves. The project was far fetched, and relied on myths. With a handful of multi-cultural private investors, Dr. Hawksley spread out scientists and researchers across the globes to dig up archaic DNA long gone past of ancient gods, demi-gods, and mythical beings. Their success, through the depleting soil, was ground-breaking. The goal was simple: taking the DNA of these myths, legends and gods, and planting them into regular people, or people bred specifically for this purpose. It’s 2203, now. 22 years since the project has launched and created an entirely new wave of man and being. The people have brought together their lands and created the United Province of 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞.
