With that, of course, there is a high population of heroes, vigilantes, and villains. Even America's number one hero, Radiant, is here! She is often considered the best of her time, and has put away countless villains. Heroes in training are drawn to NYC's hero school, the famous Liberty Hero Academy! In recent news, an illegal immigrant from Korea became hostile towards a group of individuals trying to help her when she was going to commit suicide by throwing herself off a building. The villain illegally uses her quirk to accelerate herself to the ground. One of the most popular vigilantes, known as Revolt to the public, caught the woman. The villain, now called "#17” because of the number 17 branded on her cheek, tore into the vigilante, trying to beat and kill the man. In turn, Revolt took the woman out, incapacitating her. Heroes were able to take the woman into custody. This hostile mutant is being held in Black Crow Security in NYC instead of being deported in her international scandal

Upon reanimation, the infected devolved into aggressive, cannibalistic corpses. It was only a matter of time before the highly contagious disease spread rapidly over county and state lines. Government-sponsored and dutifully monitored quarantine zones promised safety near major cities. Within months, over half of them had fallen. The failures of quarantine zones had sparked motivation in those ambitious enough to tackle the need for community in these trying times, knowing that was what it would take for humanity to pull through the nightmare victorious. Vandermill, a settlement in upstate New York, claims it was among the first to erect walls. Upon the arrival of August 2026, it’d been over a year since the world, as it was once known, had ceased to exist. However, it also marked the first anniversary of Vandermill’s establishment. The flourishing community has managed to stay afloat. Dangers of FRV are prevalent, but that doesn’t even begin to address the threat survivors pose to each other.
