Lore ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Zeta-5 a planet that is classified by ONI, invaded by the Covenant and held by the old citizens of the planet. It was told by ONI that Zeta-5 is a planet with an atmosphere that gives off an aphrodisiac air only at night, and due to this ONI has told all UNSC to stay away from the planet, letting the Covenant or URF take the planet. You arrive on Zeta-5 one way or another and now it is up to you to survive on Zeta-5 with no communications to other UNSC ships. You must scavenge the planet that is a jungle with hopes that you could potentially find a shelter or any form of civilization from the aphrodisiac air. The Forerunners has also developed a portal that brings almost all dead characters back to life, including the canon characters. Why? That's up to you to figure out, welcome to Zeta-5, the cursed planet that is the safest and most dangerous in the galaxy. Zeta-5 is the human-covenant war but miniaturized as skirmishes continues and hostilities a plenty. However, due to the circumstances, peace seems more likely than ever. You can help destroy that peace or strengthen it as you are part of the story. You can help add to the lore or you can make you own stories with others, all is fair play on our server.

2550 - 2 Years before the events of Halo: reach Task Force Blacklight is a ONI Specialist branch, Created at the outbreak of the Human-Covenant war, under the leadership of a Spartan-II going by the namesake of the Task force. Heavily focused in unconventional combat tactics, in assassinations and hit and run against highly fortified Covenant strongholds and other targets that ONI determines. Consisting of a large but segmented force, Blacklight is split into two primary groups, each headed by a trusted aid of his, in the form of two other Spartans, one focusing on the primary attack, Labelled "Vanguard" who are specialists in quick attacks, consisting of numerous spartans, and ODST's, Their training and equipment is significantly better than that of their correspondant. But their numbers are significantly lessened. The other of the two, "Scythe" is the larger of the forces, and wipes out the broken up enemy left over from the first attack, Cleaning up with significantly higher manpower and firepower in tandem, Scythe acts as the primary army, while Vanguard acts as the spearhead to begin the attack. This format allows Blacklight to take on incredibly odds in quick succinct battles. Taking on bases and areas of operation thought impossible for their numbers as the quick attacks cause their enemies to panic and believe they are under a larger attack then they really are. In recent years, Blacklight have heard rumors of a covenant build up have started to form, with many thinking that there will soon be a attack on the fortress planet of Reach, however those rumors are in question through UNSC HICOM. Blacklight is still being trained for the day where that might be the case, whilst also having to deal with frequent missions on many nearby planets and ONI secret operations..
