Welcome to Insula Requiem, a Discord server dedicated to the Foresaken world of Griffins. ✧ OVERVIEW — The World of Griffins The continent of Algryph is ruled by griffins, diverse creatures who combine the characteristics of many different bird and feline species. For many centuries, Algryph was bisected by the Scalding Sea until voyagers discovered a volcanic island called Insula Requiem. Thereafter, Insula Requiem was transformed into a vital landing outpost for merchants crossing the sea. However, this abundance of wealth had lured the attention of pirates, murderous aerial thieves unbound by continental codes of honor. The merchant lords dispatched their soldiers to quell the pirate incursion, but to no avail. Promptly, they declared Insula Requiem to be a lost cause and laid siege to the Scalding Sea. Yet Algryph had forsaken not only pirates, but warriors, merchants, nobles, and artisans from all corners of the continent. Although isolated and betrayed, Insula Requiem does not relent, and neither do you. ✧ LOOKING FOR — Dedicated Members Insula Requiem takes place on the island of its namesake, where the settlers and pirates have formed a tenuous pact to resist the continental blockade.
