Doch zwischen diesen Fronten existiert etwas, das die Welt aus dem Gleichgewicht bringt: Drachenwandler, Menschen mit Drachenblut in ihren Adern. Eine Seltenheit. Eine Anomalie. Ein Fehler im Gefüge der Welt. Gerüchte verbreiten sich: Ein Drache wurde von etwas getötet, das zugleich Mensch und Drache gewesen sein soll.
