Context of the plot: It has been a year since it happened... one day, a subject was rescued from the jungle and showed symptoms of a flu that worsened until he fell into a deep coma. After 24 hours, the subject woke up with erratic behavior like that of a rabid animal. Analysis revealed that a zoonotic pathogen had lodged in his nervous system, transforming him into the rabid animal he was now. The soft tissue of the subject began to deteriorate and rot to some extent. One day, the subject escaped from his cell and, while being restrained for a final test, attacked the scientists. The apocalypse began when fluid from the subject came into contact with the blood or mouth of one of those scientists. In 30 minutes, the entire laboratory was infected, and within an hour, there were zombies within a 5-block radius.
