Taking place in the year 1994 and focusing on three nations, all with their advantages and flaws, the world of DIVINE has everything one could wish for: secret services controlling the flow of the world from underneath, special agencies acting like the paranormal police and creatures whose existence cannot be explained by science alone. If they can actually find a way to live in harmony, only time can tell. Gods · stand against humanity, serving as both punishers for their disobedience and caregivers in return of faith and sacrifices. Demigods · are placed between divinity and humanity, forced to choose between one of the two. Both hated and desired by both parties, they have it the hardest. Humans · remain as perseverent and inovative as always, finding new ways to use the divine power to their advantage. The entire human race hopes to one day be able to live without the cruelty of the gods who stand above them.
