In a similar fashion to another mirrored story, Lev Lainur, the vessel of Flauros, manages to kill himself before being taken over by the Demon God, effectively foiling Goetia's three thousand years plan. For a reason or another, the projects to start up Chaldea still happen, even without all the prophetic nature of the original... and because of that, it is quite easier for Marisbury to disappear before actually finishing much, gone who knows where... We move to 2022. The Incineration of Humanity never happened, and no other outside events, for a reason or another, seemed to take place, although events increasingly happening in the last years seemed to suggest that the incomplete creation of Chaldea was for nothing, as small anomalies started taking over, often hovering over already existing geographical coordinates and altering them, and more commonly simply cutting holes through reality, letting anomalous entities from pruned timelines and impossible worlds pour inside our own existence. With time, with no main source of finances for Chaldea, it trusted itself to the investors and envoys of other associations of the Moonlit World, becoming a not-quite-neutral area that acts both as an association of observation and containment of the anomalies and a political battlefield for groups that had previously been outright hostile one towards each other. This all-observing conglomerate, with countless eyes coming from all of Earth, was appropriately named as the giant of myth, Argos Panoptes.
