Upon Taladamar are the many kingdoms and cities founded by the innumerable species that call the land their home, from the brimming cities that fall beneath the banner of Eolas, a trade empire whose contracts have become the beating heart that has kept generations of kingdoms from starvation. To the more traditional empire found in the West, made up of kings and queens that seek their own glories and conspire against one another, forgetting their once-followed pact of standing with one another against a common enemy. Will you follow beneath the banner of Eolas, a massive trade empire whose knightly roots are slowly being forgotten by the greed of aristocrats, royals, and merchants that have more power over the monarchy than anyone else. Dominating the mainland through a connection of numerous cities, kingdoms, and villages that make up the greater bulk of its province. Or the harrowing brutality of the Hokurikudo, a noble yet merciless faction that hails from the northern blizzard of Iyana-Shimo’s never ending winters. A faction that has only recently stepped out of the north’s nearly impenetrable frozen storms to establish their connections to the outside world, through force or through diplomacy. Aided by the many clans that seek to represent themselves as the face and figure of their respective lineage, often seeking power over such a position. Perhaps you seek the Western Empire instead, an alliance of kingdoms that once swore to raise their swords against any demon lords that threaten with dominion should they rise to power, though now they merely bicker with themselves and others over the state of affairs that their kingdoms are tangled up in. A fickle alliance only held up by the charisma and guile of a young monarch that’s far too inexperienced for their empire’s own good. Though the land has been settled by countless civilizations since the Age of Discovery, many still do not know the full story of Taladamar’s intricate history. Ruins, Bastions, even long forgotten dungeons who’s purpose are largely unknown, still dot the wild and unclaimed landscape beyond the borders of established kingdoms. These structures often ward away the common folk, but not brave adventurers who are willing to risk life and limb to uncover their secrets.
