Welcome to Heart, a play-by-post Living World server, using D&D 5e in a Westmarches format! 🎲🌍 Set in an alternate history Earth, in the year 2039, 23 years after the opening of multitudes of inter-dimensional portals, the world has weathered the invasion of magical monstrosities, fantastical new races, and the arrival of magical heroes, by retreating behind the remaining walled metropolis'. The greatest of these cities, Neo-Alexandria (otherwise known as Unity City), houses hundreds of would-be adventurers, doing battle against all manner of creatures, criminals, and even the occasional god-like entity. 🏰🧙‍♂️ Sessions happen any time players are free with quick Hunts happening multiple times every day, with longer Bounties and lengthy Missions frequently occurring multiple times in a week; finally, Expeditions allow you to explore the world of Heart and beyond at your leisure, for as long as you like! 🌟🗺️ A thriving community with players in nearly all timezones, we host custom game systems for firearms and bombs, acquiring pets and mounts of any tamed monster, player housing and businesses, magic item crafting, extensive downtime, dungeon master rewards, even Epic Level post 20 play!
