Yarka was a free kingdom lead by a great king, Thomas the 1st De Erendial. Anyone could be whatever they want, except maybe if they didn’t follow the rules, and the country was prosperous. But then, refugees started to come from the foreign desert Storra. It caused some issues so the king decided it was time to step in that conflict and stop it. With the army, he set up to travel to Storra. Since the last months, the king have left his country to help on a foreign war. Before he left, he settled that his son Wellan had to take charge of the kingdom. But he quickly got overwhelmed by the advisors who decided that they would rule instead of him and they changed the laws. When the king of Yarka left, the advisors set up a decree where Wellan gave all his powers to them. He didn't really noticed that he signed that, this paper was mixed up with other papers to sign. Doing that didn't made him loose his status since he have been blessed by the gods, but his way of living was now more like a princess one. They created five main new rules: 1. - The Advisors have the authority of his Majesty and their orders must be carried out as if given from the King himself. 2. - Restraining someone in public will no longer be forbidden. 3. - Abduction of the prince is strictly illegal and their punishment shall be decided by the advisers. If none are available, the highest ranking soldier shall act on their behalf. 4. - His Highness the prince Wellan De Erendial have no longer any rights to go out of the castle by himself without proper security measures which are seen fit by the advisers or highest ranking guard acting on their behalf. 5 - The wasting of cookies is a criminal offense, punishable by immediate bondage to save any remaining cookies. After a long time, The king Thomas the 1st returned from the war in Storra, victorious. Everyone was thrilled, Yarka remained the first power in the world and got their king back. He took back his place and tried to put everything back together because his son seemed not ready to lead the kingdom. He jailed some people, kept others, abolish some stupid rules (why forbid people from wasting cookies?) and made new ones. But he never told his people about the poisoned wound he received in a fight, not even the people close to him. Before he could abolish the remaining odd laws added during his departure, he passed away in his sleep. It caused a mess. With the king gone, they had to crown a prince definitely unprepared for such an event. The prince Wellan gathered old and new advisors, tried his best to meet the standards asked by his people. After a year, the kingdom tries to prosper with its new king to face any danger that could come.
