The Jade Emperor ruled the cosmos with an iron fist, the order of gods by his side as well as the four dragon kings, until the great betrayal. Amongst the heavenly beings and demons, there were whispers, people who wanted power for themselves. The heavens was thrusted into chaos, the earthly bounds falling suit running rapidly with pillaging. The betrayers soon succeeded in their treachery, some a part of the heavenly court, others below. Soon after, the Jade emperor fell and an evil successor took his place.
