Many heroes fell that day. The Bureau of Heroic scrambles to recover from the losses even two years later. The standards to become a hero is at an all time low while new villains rise to meet their numbers. Clashes between the two groups have been growing all the more brutal, not that the TV ever shows the full extent of the bloodshed, painting the perfect picture of Good and Evil. Wintercrest, the capital of Beryndel, is the center of these fights. A city surrounded by walls to keep the superpower wildlife outside of them from getting in. A city of lights and flashy fights, as long as you do not stray too far into the wrong district of course. There are forces at play in the city that most do not notice, happy to go about their lives while entire city streets are ripped apart by flash fights.
