Things were back to normal. Or, uh. Abnormal. Earth still spun, orbited around the Sun, and traveled through the Milky Way. The sun still rose in the east, and set in the west. Unicorns still tricked unsuspecting little girls. People still married woodpeckers. And with Soos and Melody running the Mystery Shack, Wendy working full-time behind the counter and even doing tours herself, and a steady flow of dull tourists— The future seemed to be smooth sailing from there. Stan and Ford occupied the seven seas, whilst Mabel and Dipper occupied stiff, plastic chairs in front of wobbly desks with algebra packets laid out in front of them. Three years doesn’t really seem like a lot, but to the latter pair of twins, it felt like forever. Bringing back an entire pig and quite a few new scars, a lot of them mental, was more than enough of a reason for their parents to keep the kids in Piedmont for a summer or two, but after practically non stop begging for weeks, they caved. But when the Pines returned the Shack, things were… different. Incredibly different. For one, there’s a new neon-yellow-eyed handyman who won't stop staring at all of them with a certain mix of pure fear and loathing. ▴▴▴ This is a Gravity Falls semi-literate roleplay that is directly inspired by the "Handyman Bill" AU that @waty_mot created on Twitter, but will not strictly be following that storyline.
