(Plot, if you're interested!): In 2012, the world comes to an end due to a virus that decimates the human population, leaving only children alive. Intent on taking advantage of the situation, vampires emerge from the depths of the earth, followed by other ancient horrors that were believed to be just myth. The vampires invade the earth and claim possession through a single violent attack, subjugating the remaining humans and relegating them below the earth's surface for their safety. This "protection," however, exists for the simple fact that the oppressors obviously need the blood of their prisoners. Four years later, a group of children plan to escape the control of the vampires along with the other children from the Hyakuya orphanage. This, however, only results in the death of everyone, except for a few who manage to escape saved by members of the Moon Demon Company, a famous extermination unit of the Imperial Japanese Demon Army. The children saved by them decide to join them to seek revenge for the losses of all their loved ones and put an end to the vampires.
