F-Zero NX: Supersonic Century is a non-ERP +18 roleplay server. The year is 2596, and the single most important sport the universe has seen is celebrating its centennial anniversary. While many might see F-Zero as just an evolution of Earth’s stock car races, this supersonic blitz is the one thing most people across the entire universe have in common; F-Zero has let the cosmos grow and evolve as one people, hearts racing just as fast as the machines on the track. And for years, everyone believed this melting pot of an event to be perfected. After all, what could you possibly do to make hairpin turns and vertical loops at 2200 km/h any more intense? An archeological outpost in Clifoto’s Sand Ocean discovered the ruins of an ancient temple a few decades past and has been a hotspot for researchers of all kinds due to its surprisingly advanced technology housed within. While this puzzled scientists for years, deep within the catacombs of the ruins, an incredible discovery was made; archeologists discovered one of the fabled Reactor Mights, alongside over forty connection points for others, and alongside deciphering text throughout the temple, this shattered the legend of their only being six of these artifacts across the universe. Not long after this discovery became public did CEO and Chairman of the Board of F-Zero, Don Genie, announce that for the 100th annual F-Zero Grand Prix that the entry fee had been completely waived for this year; in its stead, only those with a Reactor Might may race. With the Grand Prix only six months away, racers from all over the universe found themselves in a mad dash to hunt for the Reactor Mights in the hopes of racing in the most important Grand Prix in F-Zero history. However, there are many who are skeptical of Genie’s showmanship. Alongside hunting down criminals, the Chrono-Mobile Task Force, a time traveling police force led by a detective known as Phoenix, has been searching for the Reactor Mights, claiming that this race never took place in their history. Hailing from the 29th century, these claims have those who have heard them on edge. Another group, the ever-shady Albinus Company, has also been sending agents across the universe to search for the Reactor Mights as well. While the public mostly knows Albinus Company as an entertainment conglomerate, many pilots that have interacted with the cult-like company are aware of their extensive use of necromancy. Just what could this death cult want with technology of this caliber? But most eerie is who stays quiet; the aristocracy of Synobazz, the Court of Krigsgaldr, have remained silent on the matter. As the main financiers of the F-Zero committee outside of Don Genie himself, they have been here since the F-MAX days of old. Could they possibly know something that they don’t want the rest of the universe to discover? No matter the state of the universe, the hunt is on for the Reactor Mights. Will you succeed in securing your ticket to the greatest race in history, or will you be swallowed whole by the frenzy?
