We often talk about music, parties and festivals, art, psychonautics, technology, gaming, science, philosophy, spiritualism, psychology. If it seems like a lot, don't worry, the server's structure is very well thought through, and you can opt out of categories or channels that don't spark interest in you. ࿇ Music: Psychill and Beyond ࿇ While the server name has "Psychill" in it, I want to emphasize that it's more about a vibe than a genre. Maybe you like trippy techno or organic downtempo, psytrance, glitch hop, or maybe you prefer psychedelic rock, acid, goa, dub, funk, dubstep, jazz or drum and bass? From ambient to breakcore, from IDM to metal, Psychill Space is a genre agnostic discord server. We love all genres of music, but we especially love music that has some trippy, psychedelic, glitchy or experimental vibe to it. We also have a dedicated voice channel for listening sessions and host live DJ sets from time to time. Let me make one thing clear, though: we don't appreciate AI generated tracks. We have channels dedicated to loose production talk, sharing beats/snippets, talking collabs, as well as two forums, one for sharing/discussing VSTs, sound design, tutorials, sample packs and so on, and the other for detailed feedback on our WIP tracks. Some of the producers on our server are actually pretty popular, and we also have label people that might hit you up if they like your music. While we're trying not to exclude anyone based on their age, we require a certain degree of maturity and that you can communicate in a clear and respectful way. Certain channels are 18+ only, and accounts are required to be at least 30 days old to join. ⋆˖༺𓆩 𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐅 𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐒𝐘𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄 𓆪༻˖⋆ I spent a lot of time hanging out in various servers, psychedelic hangouts, psytrance production servers, or LGBT/gaming/neurodivergent communities, but I always felt like they were either too focused on one thing, or not focused enough. And there never was a place that seemed to appreciate enough artists like Shpongle, Ott or Tipper; it was even harder to get tips for creating music like that. So, back in October 2021 I created the server. It was called PsyDowntempo, which later was renamed to Psychill Community and then finally Psychill Space. In 2025, I also created a blog with the same name (https://psychill.space), where I write album reviews, monthly new release digests, and more, and in early 2026 I converted it to a fully fledged music & social platform. It started as a mere psychedelic music sharing & production server, but grew into a full, active and tight knit online community. ⋆˖༺𓆩 𝟏𝟐 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 & 𝐂𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐌 𝐁𝐎𝐓 𓆪༻˖⋆ The server is characterized by a rather unique role system. Progress through 12 ranks from Novice to Luminary based on your activity and engagement. No MEE6 spam, no rewarding spamming, only genuine conversations. The server also features a custom AI powered robo mushroom bot, Psyborg, which will respond to your questions on the go while also keeping you entertained.
