We are the Mega Man X roleplay server you've been looking for! Sirens in the Distance takes place at the close of the Classic canon. Wily's decade of destruction has come to an end, leaving in its wake a broken world, struggling to rebuild something they can call "normal life." Tensions are high, as humans looks with suspicion on the remaining Robot Masters. Through the chaos an uncertainty, the last and greatest creation of Dr. Thomas Light emerges: Mega Man X! But humans never learn... In the race to reclaim the world, a new species of android is born, gifted with the immutable sapience of their creators. The reploids are heralded as humanity's first true equals, but not everyone is so quick to accept these doe-eyes machines. While reploids struggle to prove themselves as allies to humanity, Robot Masters face a choice: accept the hastening embrace of obsolescence, or resist and plunge the battered world into a new generation of war. Sirens in the Distance is built and managed by a group of long-time Mega Man X roleplayers and game masters. It is intended for mature players (20+) who are looking for character-driven stories. Knowledge of MMX lore is not required. We are new player-friendly and OCs are welcome!
