After countless centuries, a now ancient sith lords decide it's time for the Sith to evolve and abandon the rule of two, and starts plotting the return of the Sith Empire, hoping it'll one day help them defeat the Jedi. After searching for an answer on how to accomplish this through Sith holocrons and scrolls, he decided that he and his apprentice would set course for the Sith Shrine at Drommund Kaas. Once there, they used their enhanced force capabilities to create a giant force mask, to mask any dark side presence emitting from the planet. Due to the amount of raw power required, the apprentice perished soon after, with the strain of the impressive feat having taken its toll on his still-young body. Above his grave and the Sith Shrine, a new Sith Academy was born, here he intended to teach multiple new acolytes the way of the force, with one from each group advancing to the title of Apprentice. When their time as an apprentice was over, another group of acolytes would come, and the strongest among them would become the newly appointed Lord's Apprentices, this cycle continued, long past the founder's death, with the tradition slightly altering as time went on, allowing more and more sith to enroll at the academy on Drommund Kaas, growing stronger and stronger.
