The living passed on the memories and tales the dead had to give, and in turn, Starclan remained strong and radiant, a glowing beacon to all. But as hardships challenged the four clans, suddenly, their connection with the other side grew faint. Starclan stopped speaking with the clans altogether. Quickly, things delved into chaos and disorder. Tyrants rose, inflicting harsh punishments and a cruel rule over their clanmates, only to fall to the claws of the very cats they had sworn to lead and protect. Leaders sent out their warriors, who would go forth under their order to clash and compete to take over territory from their neighbours. Others prayed, so desperately, to a star filled sky that would never respond. The Mothermouth grew cold. New Leaders rose, with one life to spare, and Medicine Cats gathered once a moon in a dark, dimly lit cave. The Moonstone now shines with only a faint and pitiful glow. Until one night, Starclan’s voice rises once more, but not all hear its tune. Long ago Riverclan stole their deputy, having fallen in love with a rivercat; it ultimately ended in the deputy’s demise. Since, the two have been at odds, and a grudge runs deep through Thunderclan's heart. ⚔️🏞️ Riverclan ⤷ The strong and clever, none can match these cats in the current of the waters. They’ve squabbled with the other clans a handful of times for territory, but remain on peaceful terms with Windclan. Despite being at odds with Thunderclan, they hold similar opinions on the disappearance of Starclan; both quickly became independant. 🐟💧 Shadowclan ⤷ Despite their name implying a shady, shrewd nature, Shadowclan is proud and ultimately peaceful. Though they’re still recovering from a tyrant leader from many moons ago, they are among those still believing in Starclan, hoping for their return. 🌌🌙 Windclan ⤷ Swift and precise, one is not to underestimate the power of Windclan. They are unmatched in their speed and endurance. For moons uncountable they have claimed to be the closest to Starclan, even with their long standing silence. Some to the very extremes, taking justice into their own paws if they believe their ancestors would agree with their decision. 💨🌬️
