What if the fate of the story was changed, new life breathed into the lost pieces of Pharloom's history? This story takes place during the course of Hornet's journey through Pharloom. However, the disparate tribes and kingdoms of Pharloom reign into the modern day, and will play a role in how the story progresses. The subjugation of Pharloom by Grand Mother Silk, the Weavers, and the Citadel to follow, could not break the spirit of these kingdoms. As the Citadel's wavers, and the haunting encroaches, these tribes rise again to reclaim their legacies. The legions of Karak stand proud again, united under Crust King Khann. The fearsome warriors of the Skarr march. The druids of Nyleth's Shellwood stand defiant. Verdania rises from desolation. The Stillkin of Bilehaven sense the weakness of their most hated enemy. The Citadel stands, for now... as more and more are taken by the haunting, their own and heretics alike. Hornet arrives in a land that remembers the Weavers as subjugators. As Pharloom's tensions reach a crescendo, she must still ascend to the Citadel, and find the truth behind its nature, the truth of which, few alive know. Will these rising tribes be a hindrance, or a boon? Will they work together to fight back against their ancient enemies, or against one another? The story has yet to be told... and so, it is up to you. Pharloom: Living Memory intends to be an interactive story, split between many narratives. The story of Hornet's climb, of the rising ancients, and the withering Citadel. How the story plays out is up to the players, and their characters, OCs and canon alike. The plot need not revolve around Hornet, maybe you will make your own band of heroes? Those that perish in the original story might not. It is up to you to decide.
